Select courses offered in-person beginning Fall 2021
Most UCLA Extension courses will continue to be offered online or via remote instruction for Fall Quarter 2021. However, with public health restrictions being rolled back and COVID-19 vaccinations continuing to progress, a select number of courses will also be offered in-person.
International Students can find additional information on their specific program pages.
We will continue to monitor developments pertaining to COVID-19, including the latest guidance from the State of California and the County of Los Angeles. Adjustments to classroom density and protocols for in-person learning for fall will be communicated at a later date.
As always, our priority continues to be the health and safety of our students, staff, and instructors.
Student and Administrative Services Offered Remotely
All UCLA Extension buildings are closed until further notice. UCLA Extension representatives are available via phone and email during regular business hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (PT).
For questions regarding a specific course or program of study, contact a member of our academic program staff. All other administrative service requests can be directed to our student services team.
How to Access Your Online Course
UCLA Extension utilizes an online learning management system called Canvas. Within Canvas you can interact with your instructor and peers, find course materials, activities, assignments, quizzes, and more. Some courses also use Zoom to conduct scheduled, live-online class sessions.
Details on accessing Canvas will be emailed to you after completing enrollment. Courses in Canvas are typically accessible 2 days before the course start date. If applicable, instructions for accessing and using Zoom will also be provided in Canvas.
