Program Prerequisite
Students are advised to complete X475.1 Real Estate Principles (or equivalent) since this is a prerequisite course for numerous courses in the curriculum. Those students with a current California salesperson/ broker license should consult with the certificate advisor to waive the prerequisite requirement.

Electives - Investment Concentration
Students must complete two of the following courses.
Electives - Real Estate
Students are required to take one additional 400-level real estate course of at least 4 units. The Internship in Real Estate, presented as the course MGMT X 476.35, is available to candidates who have completed at least five of the courses in the curriculum.

**Federal Financial Aid Gainful Employment Disclosures
The U.S. Department of Education requires colleges and universities to disclose certain information for any financial aid eligible program that, “prepares students for gainful employment in a recognized occupation”. This information includes program costs; occupations that the program prepares students to enter; occupational profiles; on time completion rate; and for the most recent award year: the number of students who have completed the program, the number of students who complete the program within the estimated duration, the job placement rate, and the median Title IV and private loan debt incurred by those who complete the program. An internship in real estate can provide you with practical experience in a variety of real estate job functions. Certificate students must complete a substantial portion (generally 20 units) of the program curriculum, with a GPA of 3.0 or better, before enrolling in the internship.
