About the Program

  • Minimum Age: You must be 18 years of age on or before the start of the program.
  • Student (F-1) Visa: If you are coming from another country to study in the Academic Intensive English Program (AIEP), you will need a student F1 visa.

Full-time study required. Students must complete the required number of hours for their program and pass all classes to qualify for a certificate of completion. Classes typically meet for 20 hours per week. One instructional hour = 50 minutes and the schedule may vary due to orientation, placement exam, and other program related activities.
