About this course:

CS 217A Internet Architecture and Protocols (Instructor: Prof. Zhang, L.) Lecture, four hours; outside study, eight hours. Requi­site: course 118. Focus on mastering existing core set of Internet protocols, including IP, core transport protocols, routing protocols, DNS, NTP, and security protocols such as DNSSEC, to understand principles behind design of these protocols, appreciate their de­sign tradeoffs, and learn lessons from their opera­tions. Letter grading.
